Girls’ gymnastics classes have many physical and mental developmental benefits. Your child will gain self-confidence, determination and self-esteem through learning new skills in a safe progressive environment. In addition, they will gain strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination that will set themselves up for a lifetime of fitness. As this program is carefully constructed to address each child’s skill level, no prior gymnastics experience is required.
Children will work their way through Gymnastics Irelands Gymstart award system and will perform in our end of term shows. Gymnasts may have also have the opportunity to participate in Gymnastics Ireland national events, during the year.
Each high-energy Shooting Stars class for girls begins with a fun warm up, followed by gymnastics apparatus rotations – beam, bars, rings, floor, tumble track and vault.
And Parents, we want to have great communication with our families and know that you would like to see what your child is doing at Gymstars. So new for this year, we have developed an online app and once signed up, your child’s development program will be uploaded to your account. You will be able to track progress through each skill & level, giving you peace of mind that your child is learning and you’re getting value for money. We hope to see you at Gymstars soon.
